Waste glass bottles have always been an expensive and irritating problem for every kind of Licensed Retail Premises. There is also an environmental implication as most glass is currently disposed of into increasingly scarce landfill. It is a matter of time before local authorities pass the escalating cost of landfill onto licensed establishments.


Over the years, there have been many trials to persuade pubs, restaurants and wine bars to recycle more. But the high cost of these has made businesses reluctant participants. 		 


 

Smash and Grab Glass Recycling Limited approaches this problem from a different angle by tackling glass waste where it arises and providing an efficient and reliable collection service. We have designed and produced a radically different glass smashing machine; the "Little Smasher" is simple, small and easy to install; it is easy to operate and literally makes your bar staff's job easier and more efficient.

After two years in development, and after months of successful testing in busy pub environments, we are now installing "Little Smashers" across London and providing a glass collection service.
